"I like the mentality": Former Madrid striker Adebayor argues Cristiano Ronaldo is better than Messi

"I like the mentality of this player [Cristiano Ronaldo] a lot. Not only the way he plays - we all love the way he plays. But what attracts me the most is his motivation to work," Emmanuel Adebayor has said.

"He trains before the training sessions. Then there's the session. After it, he continues to train. He also trains after matches. On his days off, he trains as well.

"Do I think Ronaldo is better than Leo Messi? Yes, 250%."

First of all, why is Adebayor so sure that Messi doesn't work as hard as Ronaldo. He wouldn't have gotten where he is now if he didn't work at least as hard as Cristiano.

And second, the Portuguese might be a better athlete, he might focus on the physical aspect more, but that's not everything football is about.

And third, as a former Real Madrid player, Adebayor might be a bit biased.
