'I didn't know how to cope with my situation': Ferran Torres finally explains his poor form
"I became way too obsessed with the goals. I didn't care about having bad matches, I just wanted to score," Ferran Torres has told the media when asked about his poor form of the past few months, via Diario Sport.
"I have always been a player who faces the opponent, tries to unbalance him. I'm also used to providing assists. Normally, I have also been successful in front of goal, but I had a bad run and I did not know how to manage it.
"I put myself in the hands of a psychologist. I usually go there once or twice a week. We don't just talk about football, we discuss my private life too.
"My family also helped me, I have a very healthy environment," the player said.
Following a series of poor cameos, Ferran Torres finally impressed the fans on Sunday as Barcelona beat Cadiz 2-0.
Ferran completed 10 dribbles - the most among all La Liga players this season - and looked extremely dangerous on the right side.
