Heartwarming video of 'Ten Hag ball' at it's very best goes viral as Man United toy with Barcelona

The job Erik ten Hag has done at Manchester United so far this season has been very, very impressive.

At the very start of his tenure, the Dutchman was on the receiving end of a 4-0 walloping away at Brentford.

The crisis alarms were ringing loud and clear in the aftermath, but six months later, there's a clear cloud of positivity hanging over United instead.

Ten Hag's side have gone from being thrashed by Brentford to feeling disappointed with a 2-2 draw away at Barcelona.

Now that's what you call progress.

United gave a great account of themselves at Camp Nou on Thursday evening, one made more impressive by their number of absentees.

Lisandro Martinez and Marcel Sabitzer were suspended, while Christian Eriksen, Antony, Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay missed the match through injury.

Yes, Barcelona were without key players too in the form of Ousmane Dembele and Sergio Busquets, but take nothing away from a resurgent United.

And during the epic encounter in Catalonia, the Red Devils provided us with a beautiful demonstration of 'Ten Hag Ball'.

The sharp passing and movement from United was befitting of a prime Barcelona team, an assessment we do not believe is hyperbole in the slightest.

If Aaron Wan-Bissaka had been able to finish off the move with his powerful shot, we'd be talking about one of the great team goals in European competition.
