'England's best centre-back': Old Trafford supporters can't get enough of Luke Shaw's new role

Manchester United played out an entertaining 2–2 draw against Barcelona in the Europa League on Thursday.

Luke Shaw was played in a centre-back role with Erik ten Hag deciding to keep Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire on the bench.

And Man United supporters are over the moon over the Englishman's new role as Shaw continue to do better than the the club's natural centre-backs.

Art (via RedCafe): "Shaw is a titan. What a job ETH has done with him."

Mr Smith: "His versatility is going to be a big asset for us in the coming years. Being able to slot straight into CB and not look out of place is also something SAF would have utilised regularly during his time."

Red_Aaron: "I genuinely believe he is England's best CB which is absolutely mad."

PoTMS: "What a player. Does he go back out to left back in the return leg? Harsh on Malacia who was brilliant tonight."

Sylar: "He's done well again. I remember him doing well as LCB against PSG and we didn't see that much again. But in a two he's surprised me."
