'Best player among Chelsea new purchases': Potter's call to leave Badiashile out of UCL squad questioned
"[Mudryk] wasn’t really in the game," ex-Arsenal defender Martin Keown told Talksport about Chelsea's 0-0 draw with Fulham.
"Madueke then came on. Lots of flashes, lots of good moments, but [wasn’t] really impacting the game too much.
"The central defender, Badiashile, actually was probably the best player I saw among [Chelsea’s new] purchases.
"[B]eing such a good player, [Badiashile] is not even listed in the Champions League group. How does that really work out? Who made that decision?"
Badiashile has played three games for the Blues so far and, coincidentally or not, Chelsea kept clean sheets in all of them.
Yet despite that, the Frenchman was not included in Chelsea's Champions League squad. Felix, Mudryk and Enzo made the cut while Auba was excluded.
