Aubameyang reportedly set to be left out of Chelsea squad again

 

According to the Mirror, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang won't return to the Chelsea squad for the Southampton game.

The striker has effectively been frozen out by Graham Potter. He was not included in the matchday squad in the last two Premier League games after being deregistered from the Champions League squad altogether.

The Blues have only scored three goals in the last eight games - and there have been calls from some fans to at least give the 33-year-old a chance.

Potter has praised Aubameyang's application in training and branded him an 'important player' at a press conference - but his actions would be much louder.
