Ancelotti loses temper in press conference over mistreatment of one Madrid player
Carlo Ancelotti got visibly upset in his press conference for the Club World Cup when asked about Vinicius Jr.
"The question I ask is: What is the problem: Vinicius? What does he have to defend himself from," Ancelotti said raising his voice.
"The problem is what happens around Vinicius. It's a problem in Spanish football that we have to solve.
"Vinicius is not the culprit, he is the victim of something that I don't understand," Ancelotti said.
Vinicius is the most fouled player in La Liga this season receiving twice as many fouls as any other player. On average Vini is fouled five times per game. In the game against Mallorca last weekend, the Brazilian was fouled 10 times by opposition players.
Vini's dribbling and scoring output has improved remarkably in the last two seasons leading to some sort of agenda against the winger by La Liga players.
Besides the reckless tackles, Vini has also been subject to numerous racist abuse by opposition fans this season.
