'A high tackle to Casemiro would suit me': Some Newcastle fans wanted United players injured ahead of cup final

 

Manchester United take on Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday evening after having played Barcelona on Thursday night.

Some of the Newcastle fans have been wishing for injuries to United players who are playing 2 big games in quick succession.

The Newcastle United Subreddit even had a question posed to their fans that read: "Anyone else watching Man U v Barcelona hoping for injuries galore?"

Here's what the fans have been talking about over there:

Any: "I devastating high tackle to Casemiro's meat and two veg would suit me just fine."

Cathar: "Would love 120 minutes and a few pulled hamstrings, yes lol."

Kaylee: "Nah I'm hoping for a sick bug to whip round their camp Saturday though..."

Zleib: "120 mins of European football + Rashford out until Monday."

Eski: "I hope barca kick the shit outta them."

Even though it's quite a negative thing to wish injuries upon rival team players, it is quite clear that most teams would fear facing Man Unite right now, as one of the Newcastle fans admitted:
