"You Can't Train This Way": Aguero Reveals He Had A Lot Of Problem With Guardiola

"As soon as he [Guardiola] arrived at Man City, he told me, 'You can't train this way.' I said, 'This is the way I've always done it. I train my way. If you want me to run to the corner flag and back, I'll go and run, but I'll run my own way'," Sergio Aguero has told Star+.

"We had a lot of problems because of this. I didn't play much when he arrived. He eventually got used to my training regime, it was only a matter of time," the Argentine added.

This is quite a rare thing when a manager is forced to put up with how his player trains.

Anyway, this was worth it as Aguero became a real legend for Manchester City, having scored 260 goals in 390 appearances.

The Argentine will even have a statue in his honour near the Etihad.
