Xavi explains subbing Dembele and De Jong off, names one sub he got wrong

"Maybe I should have brought on Ansu [Fati] earlier. It was my mistake. He's in a good moment of form and I'm happy for him," Xavi has told the media.

"Subbing Dembele and Frenkie off? I did it because of precaution, they had some discomfort. I hope we'll have them both ready for Sunday," the Barca boss added.

Most Barca fans were unhappy with Xavi's subs in the second half as he decided to bring Ousmane Dembele and Frenkie de Jong off. Xavi brought Ferran Torres and Sergio Busquets on – both players did not impress.

Ansu Fati came on later and scored a goal.
