"What has he won" "he has lost everything": Scolari question Luiz Enrique's competency for Brazil National Team Vacancy
Former Breazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has aim a heavy attack on former Spain manager Luis Enrique who has been linked to the Brazil coaching role.
Scolari, who guided Brazil to its fifth World Cup title in 2002, has questioned the title-winning credentials of the 52-year-old manager.
Brazil are in search for a new manager after Tite's resigned after the Selecao were knocked out of the 2022 World Cup at the quarter-final stage.
As per Football Espana, Enrique has been contacted by the Brazil Football Federation (CBF), who are willing to appoint a non-Brazilian for the hot seat for the first time in the history of the nation.
However, Felipe Scolari, who had an uneventful second stint with Brazil, does not believe Enrique is the right man for the job.
"What has he won?" Scolari quizzed as quoted by Sportskeeda.
"It has to have performance. He is very good, but he has lost everything. What does it mean that he is good?”
