"We’ve Been Training Even Harder":Kulusevski Shares Conte’s Demands Ahead Of Aston Villa Clash

Tottenham Hotspur return to league football after the World Cup break did not go as head coach Antonio Conte would have wanted it. His team drew 2-2 away at London rivals Brentford.

Brentford raced to a 2-0 lead through Vitaly Janelt and Ivan Toney, before Tottenham battled back through captain Harry Kane and Dane midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to rescue a point.

Winger Dejan Kulusevski has now revealed Conte's mood in training after the match, he was unhappy and pushed the team even harder than usual in training.

The North London club will host Unai Emery's Aston Villa in the first fixture of the Premier League in 2023, where Conte will hope previous mistakes don't strike again.

Former Chelsea boss Conte is reputable for his high level of workrate and disdain towards complacency, he was quoted saying he will kill players with bad attitude in 2016.

Kulusevski, on loan from Juventus, who earlier revealed the Italian does not want him to have fun but rather kill opponents in a sporting way, has shared insight into what training looks like after Brentford clash as reported by Daily Mail.

‘‘We were not happy [after Brentford], the coach was not happy, the team was not happy with that performance…We’ve been training even harder than usual and worked on the details that we think is going to be important for Villa.’’ the Swede player of the year said.

The former Juventus boss was criticised for his extreme training methods that left striker Harry Kane vomitting on the touchline during the club's South Korea tour.
