'Wenger lost 6-0 in his 1,000th game': Klopp makes Wenger joke - Arsenal fans quickly put him back in place

Jurgen Klopp was at the receiving end of the wrath of Arsenal fans for appearing to mock Arsene Wenger after his 1,000th game as a manager.

Following another poor display by his Liverpool side against Chelsea, Klopp said: "Arsene Wenger lost his 1,000th game 6-0 so I'm pretty happy."

But some Gooners were quick to defend their legendary former manager.

Joseph Shelley: "In his 7th year at every club he’s been with, Klopp has lost his team. In Arsene Wenger’s 7th season at Arsenal, he didn’t lose a match."

Arsenal ANOP: "Wenger’s 7th season he went invincible. Klopp in his 7th season."

The Arsenal Top: "Bit insane to me that a manager of his ‘class’ consistently looks to drag other managers into his dark cloud of self pity. Very odd behaviour".

Steve More: "F you Klopp...you will never have the respect Wenger has".

Arsene's Boy: "This lacks class on every level. Your team isn't playing well, no need for Klopp to drag Wenger into this. Shame!"

Liverpool are currently ninth In the Premier League after the scoreless draw with Chelsea. Klopp's team have lost six times already this season.
