(Video): Heartwarming Moment As Mbappe Inspects Cristiano Ronaldo’s Bruise On His Face

Kylian Mbappe shared a wholesome moment with his idol Cristiano Ronaldo during PSG's exhibition match against Ryadh XI. 

The French champions who are on a mid-season tour in the Middle East crossed paths with a select side from Riyadh at the King Fahd Stadium on Thursday evening. 

The said fixture coincided with Ronaldo's first bow on Saudi soil following his sensational move to Al-Nassr in the winter transfer. 

As expected, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner wasted no time in announcing his presence in the oil-rich nation with a first-half brace in the exhibition game. 

Ronaldo first scored from the spot before grabbing his second from a rebound as the game went into recess with both sides locked at 2-2.

 But the 37-year-old's brace came at a cost, suffering an injury to his cheekbone after Navas inadvertently punched him in a 50-50 challenge. 

The incident left CR7 red-faced but duly made the PSG goalkeeper pay for his 'sins'. After recess Mbappe had to check for himself the severity of the blow.

 In a video circulating on social media, seen by Sports Brief, Mbappe inspected Ronaldo's cheek to ascertain the situation for himself.
