Thiago Silva's wife issues ANOTHER controversial social media post calling out Chelsea fans
Thiago Silva's wife has called out Chelsea fans in another controversial social media post after boos rang around Stamford Bridge during their 1-0 defeat to Manchester City.
The 38-year-old Brazilian centre-back started for Graham Potter while his wife Belle da Silva watched on from what appeared to be a box at Stamford Bridge.
While the majority of fans stayed quiet around her, Silva's wife broke into a chorus of 'Come on Chelsea' after showing her disapproval at the boos.
She uploaded a video of herself on social media with the caption: 'Don't come to Stamford Bridge if you're not singing COME ON CHELSEA !!! #blueisthecolour @ChelseaFC @tsilva3'.
Her husband's side find themselves tenth in the Premier League having won just one of their last eight, leaving them ten points outside the top four.
This is not the first time Silva's wife has made headlines for her outlandish comments about Chelsea.
After the Blues drew 2-2 with Tottenham at Stamford Bridge in August, she tweeted: 'Today I went to Stamford Bridge, and I noticed that the photos changed around the stadium. But I don't see a photo of @tsilva3 anywhere. Why @ChelseaFC?'
Meanwhile, in April last season, Belle leapt to the defence of her husband after claiming he was criticised for 'not attacking enough' during a 4-1 defeat at home by Brentford.
'I'm here in my box at Stamford Bridge,' she said. 'I just listened right now to the commentator, who said that Thiago Silva is not attacking enough,' she said.
'Respect Thiago Silva because Thiago Silva arrived yesterday, Thiago Silva played for Brazil, Thiago Silva is very tired, Thiago Silva is 37 years old, he plays like he is 20 years old.
'So respect him, he's not a machine. He needs to relax, alright?'
Those comments came after she criticised ex-Blues striker Timo Werner after a string of misses, and celebrated Tottenham winning on the final day of last season which resulted in Chelsea's automatic qualification for the Champions League.
Despite Belle's comments about the home crowd, Graham Potter praised their efforts and urged them to be patient.
Speaking after the game, he said: 'You have to take responsibility when we're not playing well but at the same time you hope people look at the whole context in terms of what we've had to deal with. Emotions are high.
'We'll try to ride out the storm and I think the crowd appreciated the performance and were behind the team tonight. Our supporters were fantastic and got behind the team in a great way.'
