Super Eagles Striker victor Osimhen Beat Gavi And Valverde To Win Globe Soccer Award

Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has been presented with the prestigious Globe Soccer Award for the Power Horse Emerging Player of the Year.

The Napoli of Italy striker was announced the winner of the prize last November, but now he had received the piece.

Osimhen edged impressive Barcelona star Gavi and Real Madrid’s sensational midfielder Federico Valverde to the accolade.

The 24-year-old was recognized following his incredible displays for Napoli in the Italian Serie A in 2022.

Due to club engagements, he was unable to personally attend the gala night on November 17, 2022.

Complete Sports reports that Power Horse CEO, Salvatore Caizzone, Napoli’s Sporting Director Cristiano Giuintoli and Enrico Bendoni of Globe Soccer handed the award to Osimhen in Naples on Wednesday.
