Scott McTominay 'worried' about lack of game time, open to joining Newcastle
According to The Telegraph, Scott McTominay is not pleased with warming the bench at Manchester United this season.
The midfielder has started just six times in the Premier League so far, having last featured on the starting XI during the embarrassing 6-3 loss to Manchester City.
Since Casemiro's arrival from Real Madrid, McTominay's opportunities have only been limited to appearances off the bench.
As a result, the 26-year-old is 'worried' about his lack of game time and he's considering a move to Newcastle United.
The Magpies are reportedly keen on McTominay and could submit a lucrative offer to sign him this month. His current deal at Old Trafford expires only in 2025.
United, however, are unlikely to sell the Welshman considering we are still part of four competitions in 2022/23.
