Ronaldo’s Relationship With Partner Georgina Reportedly Hit Rock Bottom
The relationship between ex-Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez has reportedly hit rock bottom.
Ronaldo has been given a spectacular welcome in Saudi Arabia, after signing a two-year deal worth 175 million pounds with Al-Nassr.
The Portuguese icon arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday with his 28-year-old partner and five children, to begin their new adventure in the Middle East.
However, Ronaldo and his Spanish-Argentine lover have reportedly grown distant and are going through a worrying rough patch right now.
According to Spanish TV show Socialite, as reported by Marca, Ronaldo and Rodriguez are trying to smooth out their relationship on social media pages, despite issues in their relationship behind closed doors.
The publication further claims their relationship is existing solely because it is beneficial to both of their careers and statuses as celebrities.
Per Argentine journalist Gonzalo Vazquez, the Portuguese star has reportedly put his wedding plans on hold, due to the bad run of form that saw his career take a step back.
"The recent disappointment of the player in the World Cup in Qatar with the Portuguese national team may have triggered a crisis and the wedding they had planned is on 'standby'," Vazquez reported.
Rodriguez unhappy with Al-Nassr move?
Ronaldo sealed a free transfer move to the Saudi club at the end of December 2022, ending his adventure in Europe.
The Portuguese star was rendered clubless back in November after Manchester United terminated his contract prematurely.
Al-Nassr went on to snap up his services on a two-year deal, with The Guardian reporting he is set to pocket around £173 million per year.
