Ronaldo’s Mother Reportedly Opposes Marriage to Georgina Rodriguez
Cristiano Ronaldo's mother, Dolores Aveiro, is reportedly opposing her son from marrying current partner Georgina Rodriguez.
Ronaldo signed for Al-Nassr on a free transfer in December to become the highest-paid footballer in the world.
According to the Sun, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is set to pocket a whopping €400 million in his two-year stay with the Saudi Arabian club.
Ronaldo, his partner, Georgina, and their five children have already touched down in the Islamic country, where the ex-Manchester United star will begin his new adventure.
AS reports that Saudi Arabia is set to bend its law to allow Ronaldo to live with his girlfriend. This means that the Real Madrid legend could be exempt from the law which prohibits unmarried cohabitation.
Why Ronaldo hasn't married Georgina
According to Marca, Ronaldo's mother Delores Aveiro is the stumbling block in the 37-year-old's wedding with Georgina.
Per the Spanish media outlet, Delore and some other members of Ronaldo's family believe Georgina is dating the Portugal captain for financial gain.
The report further states that they have strongly kicked against the marriage talks between the two celebrities.

The relationship between ex-Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez has reportedly hit rock bottom.
According to Marca, Ronaldo and Rodriguez are trying to smooth out their relationship on social media pages, despite issues in their relationship behind closed doors.
The publication further claims their relationship is existing solely because it is beneficial to both of their careers and statuses as celebrities.
