Ronaldo Is Banned From Making His Much Anticipated Al Nassr Debut

Cristiano Ronaldo has suffered a huge setback to his highly-anticipated Al-Nassr debut as he was billed to make his debut as soon as Thursday, January 5.

However, Ronaldo has been barred from making his debut against Al Taee after failing to have served a two-match FA ban.

Ronaldo was punished after hitting a phone out of the hand of an Everton fan, Daily Mail reports.

What led to Ronaldo's ban?

He reportedly slapped the hand of Jacob Harding, a young Everton fan, as he stormed down the tunnel at Goodison Park last April. The boy's phone was damaged as a result.

Harding's mother, Sarah Kelly said her son’s hand was also bruised by the then-Manchester United superstar, per Liverpool Echo.

The 37-year-old forward was found guilty of improper and violent conduct and given a two-match ban.

FIFA regulations state that bans imposed by a different federation do carry over, hence Ronaldo will not be available on Thursday.
