PSG Willing To Offer €10m-Per-Season Salary To Lure Rashford To Paris
Marcus Rashford, a standout for Manchester United, is allegedly a target for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer. To entice him to Paris, the Ligue 1 team is prepared to pay him €10 million every season.
If Rashford is willing to transfer, PSG, according to Calciomercatoweb, is prepared to start talks. The Manchester United player has just 18 months left on his contract and is yet to sign a new one with the English team.
The Red Devils last month activated a one-year clause for the Englishman. Rashford can’t hold talks with other teams because of the extension, which would have been feasible if his contract was about to expire.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of PSG, has already stated that the Ligue 1 winners are interested in signing the Manchester United player. He stated in December to Sky Sports:
“He is yet another outstanding player. And for nothing? Without a doubt, every team would chase after Rashford if he were available for free. We’re not trying to hide anything; we already spoke about it and… However, neither team had a good moment at the time. Summertime, perhaps? We could speak with him directly right now if he were a free agent, but we’re not going to. Keep his attention on the World Cup. Then, hopefully in January, if we’re interested, we’ll speak with him.”
