Pitch Invader Storms Pitch To Perform 'siiu' Celebration In Saudi Arabia Game

Cristiano Ronaldo fever was in full effect on Friday as the Saudi Arabia league resumed action on Friday, January 5.

During the league game involving Al Ittihad vs. Al Hilal, there were some comical scenes as several fans invaded the pitch to perform the ‘Siiu’ celebration, famously associated with Ronaldo.

The 37-yead old penned a two-year deal with Al Nassr after leaving Manchester United and his contract stipulates that he is set to earn a massive £177 million per year, per SportBible.

Despite his absence from the game as he serves a two-game compulsory ban, some fans could not help but express excitement after acquiring the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Videos seen by Sports Brief showed several fans storm the pitch, but it was not to meet any player in particular on the day.

Instead, the fans did their best impression of Ronaldo’s iconic celebration before engaging the stewards in a brief cat and mouse.

Ronaldo coined the iconc ‘Siiu’ celebration from his Real Madrid days.

Since leaving Spain, he has continued to use the same celebration after scoring crucial goals, and fans have become all too familiar with his trademark way of making his strikes.

During his unveiling as a Al Nassr player, several journalists could be heard chanting ‘Siu’ at the forward.
