'One of the best midfielders in the world at 20 years old': Xavi sings high Pedri praises

"Pedri is a differential. He looks between the lines and attacks the spaces. Add goals to that, and we are talking about one of the best midfielders in the world at 20 years old," Xavi said after the Girona win.

Pedri registered three goals in the last four games for Barcelona, and two of which he scored in games that the Barcelona won 1-0. And while Xavi is joyous with his lad form, he also thinks that the young Spaniard still needs to improve in one aspect.

"Pedri has to improve his final pass, become braver. But yes, Gavi and Frenkie de Jong need to improve that, too."

Xavi is most directly correct. Pedri has scored six goals this season already but he's yet to register an assist.
