'Nobody knows how they spend this much money': Klopp takes dig at Chelsea spending under Boehly

Speaking about Chelsea’s rebuild under Graham Potter, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said: “There are obviously plenty of different ways you can do it, but it’s all based on the situation you are in, especially with the things happening around.

“Chelsea with the new ownership obviously, nobody knows exactly how they do it, how they can spend this much money.

“Other teams, nobody likes me talking about that... but transition needs time if you don’t have endless money, otherwise you can change overnight pretty much, bringing in 10 players.”

Klopp is clearly bitter that Chelsea are being able to sign quality players under Todd Boehly, while his own club struggles to do so amid a possible change of ownership.

The Blues are unlikely to allow this to hold them back, as they plan more signings to further improve their squad for the future.
