Nigerian Goalkeeper Mathew Yakubu Welcomes Twins With Slovakian Wife
Nigerian goalkeeper Mathew Yakubu has been blessed with twins, just four months after he married his Slovakian wife in what was a quiet ceremony.
The Super Eagles invitee was part of Nigeria's bronze winning team at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, and he is targeting to get the chance into the main team for the three-time African champions.
Yakubu, who tied the knot with his partner last September, took to Instagram to tell his fans that he is now a father.
The identity of Yakubu's wife has not been revealed to the public by the Nigerian footballer, who has chosen to keep her details private.
They met after the 23-year-old shot-stopper moved to Slovakia to join SFK Sered from Clique Sports in 2019, although he had a frustrating time at the club.
Yakubu was born in Zaria, in the Kaduna State, and he started his football career on the streets.
