Mohamed Salah was born on the 15th of June 1992. He is an Egyptian and he is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for the Premier League club Liverpool. He is also a captain of Egypt's national team. Being well known in the world as among the greatest African players of all time, he is also known for speed and dribbling.
Salah started his football career in the year 2010 when he was playing for Al Mokawloon, after which he went to Basel in 2012. Mohamed Salah later played for Chelsea over a deal of €11 million. Due to limited game time, he move to Roma and was later signed permanently for €15 million. In the year2016-2017 season, Salah was a prominent key figure in Roma’s title race against the ultimate league winner Juventus because of his goals and assists.

A brief summary of his football career
In 2017, Salah signed for Liverpool for a deal worth £36.9 million. In his first season, he was able to set a record for the most Premier League goals scored (32) goals in his 36 games, he also helped Liverpool to the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final. Mohammed Salah went on to be the best player in the club’s Champion League and Premier League title following the two seasons. Mohammed Salah has also won the FA Cup and the League Cup, he has achieved great and numerous individual accolades, which include two PFA Players’ Player of the Year awards, three Premier League Golden Boots, the Premier League Player of the season also the Premier League Playmaker of the season.
He received the 2018 FIFA Puskas Award for his winning strike in the first Merseyside Derby of the year 2017-2018 season.
When it comes to the international level, Salah represented Egypt at the youth level before making his senior debut in the year 2011. After his performance at the Summer Olympics 2012, he was named CAF Most Promising African Talent of the year. Since then, he emerged as runner-up in the 2017 and also 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and was crowned the top scorer during CAF Qualification as Egypt qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
