Messi Reportedly Made $9 Million From Instagram After World Cup Glory

Lionel Messi's recent World Cup triumph in Qatar seems to have come with a lot of income, with reports suggesting he has pocketed a substantial amount of money from Instagram since he conquered the world.

Messi played an influential role in Argentina's journey to glory, as he helped the South Americans win the global football showpiece for the first time since 1986.

La Albiceleste came up against former champions France in the final of the tournament last December, with the Paris Saint-Germain attacker netting a brace.

According to Sportbible, Argentina stunned Les Bleus 4-2 on penalties at the Lusail Stadium, after an enthralling 3-3 draw during regulation time.

Messi's Instagram success

Messi's success in Qatar was also witnessed across his socials, with the 35-year-old earning significant growth.

One of the posts made by the forward on Instagram from the World Cup is currently the most liked in the history of the platform.

The post is Messi celebrating by holding the trophy aloft while being hoisted up in the air, shortly after their victory in Qatar.

Daily Mail now claims that the former Barca star is cashing in on his World Cup success in a big way through Instagram.

The publication reports Messi has made an eyewatering $9 million from the social media platform in terms of endorsement deals.

Konami eFootball video games, Gatorade, Budweiser, crypto exchange Bitget, and artificial vision brand Orcam are some of the brands the forward has been promoting.
