Mbappe vs Rashford: Manchester United Legend Louis Saha Explains Key Difference Between the Two Stars

That Marcus Rashford is in a class of his own this year is not debatable - it would actually be fair to backdate it to Qatar, where despite England's elimination in the quarter-finals, he was one of the brightest sparks.

His form has been so good that Rashford has now been placed on the same pedestal as Kylian Mbappe.

Manchester United legend, Louis Saha has since heaped praise on Rashford. 

"Rashford is a top-five player in the world right now. The one difference between him and Mbappe is the trajectory, as Mbappe has won the World Cup already so his confidence has been right up. If Rashford has a team that play with confidence, he’d already be on a list with all the usual Ballon d’Or contenders," he said as quoted by MEN.

 It had initially been feared that the Paris Saint-Germain star would put on a one-man show. 

Well, if Rashford can maintain the form he is in, then the transition from debating Lionel Messi versus Cristiano Ronaldo to Mbappe vs Rashford, will be seamless and one for the books.
