Marcus Rashford New Celebration Explained As Manchester United Star Hits Top Form

Marcus Rashford has been the main talking point, after football resumed across Europe's top five leagues after the World Cup break.

The Manchester United star has hit top form under Erik ten Hag, scoring seven goals in his past six matches and launching a new celebration while at it.

He came off the bench to score twice against Charlton Athletic on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup.

Rashford has seemingly debuted a new celebration and made it popular after scoring his recent goals.

The England international always races off to one corner flag as he rotates his finger near his head. He then usually stops and points to his head, sometimes with his eyes closed, with barely any emotion on his face.

Rashford raises mental health awareness

Talksport now reports that the new celebration might be a way for Rashford to create mental health awareness. The 25-year-old has previously admitted that he from mental health challenges, at the same time he experienced a major slump in his career, as repored by Eurosport.

"I was struggling at times with more mental things. It wasn’t really my own performance, but other things off the pitch."

Rashford will be hoping to maintain his form for the Red Devils, as they continue with trophy pursuits in four different competitions.
