Luke Shaw Backs Ten Hag’s Decision To Drop Man United Star Rashford vs Wolves

Luke Shaw has lauded Manchester United's Head Coach Erik ten Hag for dropping Marcus Rashford due to discipline issues.

Rashford was surprisingly absent from the starting eleven to face Wolves in Saturday's early kickoff with his absence being explained as an internal issue.

Speaking after the game, Shaw explained it was important for ten Hag to reign in and establish control in the dressing room. This follows the infamous Cristiano Ronaldo incident that saw the striker's contract terminated.

"At a top club like this, it has to be like that. I think that people can't do whatever they want and maybe that's been part of the problem in the past with people getting away with silly little things," Shaw said as quoted by Daily Mail.

The United talisman Marcus Rashford also revealed he was benched by manager Erik Ten Hag as punishment for missing a team meeting.
