liverpool manager confirms no more signings for Liverpool this January even after Brighton's defeat

The second defeat against Brighton showed that Liverpool need a new midfielder urgently, as they had to introduce Henderson, Fabinho and Jones in the second half.

However, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the Reds won't try to bring in a new player this month despite rumours saying otherwise.

"Nothing will happen in this transfer window, not at all," Klopp told BT Sport after the Brighton defeat.

"It's all good with this squad," he added.

Thus, Cody Gakpo will remain the only player Liverpool signed in the January window.
