Lionel Messi Offered Whopping $300million To Join Cristiano Ronaldo In Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s top club, Al Hilal has offered to continue the rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East.
Messi and Ronaldo are known to be lifelong rivals, battling for every top trophy or award in Europe before the ex-Manchester United man joined Al Nassr in December 2022.
According to Barca Universal, Al Hilal who are Al Nassr’s biggest rivals has now offered Messi a mega $300million per year deal to join Ronaldo in the Saudi Arabian topflight.
The proposed deal by Al Hilal will make Messi the highest-paid athlete in the history of football, topping the $215million currently being paid to Ronaldo by Al Nassr.
Paris Saint-Germain is however confident of Messi penning a contract extension, as they have come up with several added bonuses in the new deal that may extend up to 2025.
