Lilian Thuram: 'My son dreams of playing for Barca'
"I want the best for my children. It would be a dream for him [Marcus] to play at Barca," Lilian Thuram has told RAC1.
"Little by little, they are becoming a great team again. They are already the league leaders, and that makes me happy for Barca and particularly for Xavi," the former Barcelona and France star added.
Barcelona are said to be keeping tabs on Marcus Thuram's transfer situation. The Frenchman's current deal with Borussia Monchengladbach expires in July, and he's not planning on extending it.
The 25-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided 4 assists in 17 games for the Bundesliga side this season.
Marcus' brother Khephren is also a professional footballer. Playing for Nice, he is one of the most promising defensive midfielders in Ligue 1.
