Jurgen Klopp slams claims that he's 'too loyal' to his players

"Yes, of course I have heard it. I heard that before and I am not," Jurgen Klopp told a press conference when asked what he thought about claims that he is too loyal to his Liverpool players.

"I am loyal. I think everybody should be loyal, but I am not too loyal.

"The problem is too complex. You have a good player who did a lot of good things in the past and then in your mind [you think] maybe that's it for him.

"If you can then go out and bring in another player to replace [him] that makes sense.

"If you cannot bring anybody in you cannot bring anybody out. That is the situation."

Klopp has also hinted that Liverpool may undergo some changes in the summer, but he is staying put - so, we may presume there will be some player turnover.

Perhaps, that was inevitable after such a season, with Liverpool already out of the title race and far away from a top-four finish in the Premier League.
