"It's true that I haven't always been fair with Camavinga": Ancelotti admits he's been unfair to Camavinga, explains subbing him off in Clasico
"It's true that I haven't always been fair with Camavinga and his substitutions, but he is going to be very important for the team," Carlo Ancelotti has told the media.
"I took him off against Valencia because of the yellow card and against Barca to put more players in attack. He's doing well and I have a lot of confidence in him," the boss added.
Eduardo Camavinga couldn't play the two Supercopa matches in full because of Ancelotti's controversial tactical decisions. The Frenchman looked solid defensively in the Clasico but left the pitch at the break.
The 20-year-old remains a second-choice player for Carlo's midfield trio at the moment.
