'It felt a bit more like Liverpool tonight': Klopp happy after Wolves win

Liverpool defeated Wolves 1-0 thanks to Harvey Elliott's golazo in the first half. The Reds are now through to the next round.

Jurgen Klopp's men showed some excellent football — at least in the first 65 minutes — and the head coach was delighted after the game.

"I enjoyed that a lot. It is a pretty rare feeling - it is ages ago that we had that feeling, winning and playing well. We had to fight hard tonight," Klopp told the BBC.

"We were super passionate in our defending tonight and we played some outstanding football.

"The whole midfield was really compact today. I liked the game a lot. I had a few MOTM's today.

"It felt a bit more like Liverpool tonight with the passion we showed. It is my job to find a formation that helps the boys."
