The International Federation of Football Historians and Statisticians (IFFHS) have named the best African team for the year 2022.
The team is dominated by the heroic players of Morocco from the World Cup in Qatar with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah completing the list.
Conspicuously missing are players of the Nigerian national team despite the form of Napoli's Victor Osimhen.
Meanwhile, Ghana's Mohammed Kudus broke into the team after an impressive World Cup with the Black Stars.
The Ghana international is enjoying a good campaign with Ajax, where he has already scored ten goals across all competitions for the Dutch champions.
Morocco's quartet Yassine Bounou, Azzedine Onuahi, Sofyan Amrabat and Romain Saiss all made the team. Cameroon's World Cup star Vincent Aboubakar also makes the team.
