Incident Which Led To Petition For Julian Alvarez To Dump His Girlfriend Emilia Ferrero
The moment that led to fans calling for Julian Alvarez to dump his girlfriend has now been revealed, with video footage showing what happened.
His new found fame has now led to over 20,000 people signing a petition for him to dump girlfriend Emilia Ferrero, who hails from the same village as the Manchester City star, who it's been claimed is a 'more complete' player than Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
It was due to an incident in which fans wanted to take pictures with the footballer and she appeared to only want a group photo.
Ferrero is reported to have made two requests throughout the video, one of which was for one camera to take a photograph of her boyfriend with everyone in a group shot rather than several pictures of her boyfriend.
When two fans again asked for his autograph, his girlfriend appeared to reply, "Guys, one more photo and that's it. We have to go."
The request not to take pictures with every child is what seems to have annoyed fans, although quite why it's led them to need a petition on the whole thing is quite another question.
The PE teacher has now responded to the incident on social media, explaining the context behind it and saying it all happened at 2 am.
"Hello everyone! First of all, happy holidays. I think it is necessary to put the situation that has gone viral in recent days in context," she said on her Instagram story.
"On Thursday we met with my family for dinner, after not seeing each other for so long.
"It was 2 in the morning, some boys/girls arrived, most of them my students, with whom I have a lot of confidence.
"Before we left, Juli went out to greet the boys and decided to take a group photo, so everyone could take that nice memory with them.
"I only tried to organize. I apologize if the way I reacted was not the best , I hope you know how to understand."
Alvarez is unlikely to dump his girlfriend just because a bunch of fans have asked him to, especially with rumours that they had split and he'd stop following her on social media proved to be false.
