“I’m A Big Threat” – Marcus Rashford Fires Warning To Teams After Everton Performance

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has claimed that he feels he’s a big threat, thanks to how the team is playing under Erik ten Hag.

Man United advanced to the next stage of the FA Cup after they beat Everton 3-1 at Old Trafford on Friday night in the third round.

It was a collective performance, as many would claim, but Marcus Rashford’s individual performance hurt Everton real hard, as he played a role in United’s two goals and scored late in the game.

Rashford has now scored five goals and provided three assists in five games, since club action returns, and the England international believes he’s now a big threat thanks to Manchester United‘s playing style.

“I feel I can still improve on things and be a threat for longer periods in the game. There are things I’m still working on,” Rashford told MUTV after the Everton win.

“I feel I’m a big threat in matches and a lot of it is due to the number of passes we have within the team, it’s tough to defend against if we’re making runs in the right areas, it’s difficult for any time to defend against.”

Erik ten Hag was pleased with Rashford’s performance against Everton and has advised the English forward to maintain his focus and work rate in order to remain in his current form.

Speaking after the game, the Dutchman told BBC: “He is in good form and on a good run, keep it going. If he keeps focus, concentration and the good work. If he keeps investing in training and games, I am convinced he can keep it going.”
