World Cup winner Marco Tardelli believes Juventus can shape the title race.

However, Tardelli rates Napoli as Scudetto favourites.

He said, "Napoli still the favourite? Of course: at 44 points how could it not be? Losing against Inter can happen, but against Sampdoria I saw it as good again, especially in the second half: they played calmly, as they hadn't done in Milan.

"But to say that a Scudetto has already been won at the beginning of January is a bit early. However, Juventus can believe it because if it goes on like this, eight victories in a row and without conceding a goal, at least they are a team heavily on track.

"I don't know if it will be enough for the Scudetto, but they are in a great recovery. Meanwhile, they are putting a lot of pressure on those in front: certainly at Milan, but also Napoli, who certainly play a little better than Juve."
