'He'll get better': Potter rates Mudryk's Chelsea debut, explains why he didn't start

Mykhaylo Mudryk made his Chelsea debut against Liverpool in a 0-0 draw at Anfield. Graham Potter introduced the forward in the second half and the 22-year-old made an instant impact with his runs and passes.

"No, he's not played since November. Hasn't had any game time. It would've been a risk. He'll get better the more he is with us," Graham Potter said of the Ukrainian.

"They're top players," Potter added about Mudryk and Felix.

"Sometimes people think us coaches turn top players into top players. But Mudryk, Joao, they understand the game. It's just fine-turning it a bit."

Before today, Mudryk hadn't played any competitive fooball since November 23.
