Ghanaian Midfielder Abdul Samed Salis Sets new Record In French Ligue 1
The highest mileage travelled by a player in Ligue 1 is by Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Samed Salis.
In the first round of the league, the Black Stars player had played 15 games and travelled 179.8 kilometers. Enzo Fe Lee of Lorient comes in runner up behind Salis with 173.3 kilometers, trailed by Jean-Ricner Bellegarde in third spot with 170.9 kilometers.
Salis positions second as far as the common distance travelled each game. The 22-year-old completed second to Johan Gastien, a previous teammate at Clermont Foot, with 12 kilometers for each game. Lorient’s Enzo Fe Lee voyages 11.6 kilometers on normal each game.
His excellent Ligue 1 play won him a spot in Ghana’s team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. In spite of the team’s initial withdrawal from the World Cup in Qatar, Salis was one of Ghana’s top players.
He transferred from Clermont Foot to RC Lens throughout the summer transfer window.
This evening’s match among Lens and Nice will be their first since Ligue 1 continued following the World Cup break.
The former member from Clermont Foot has been an essential part of Lens’ season, supporting them in completing second toward the finish of the first round.
