Gerard Pique Hits Back At Shakira's Dig With 2 Big Announcements

Following Shakira's brutal dig of her ex-partner Gerard Pique in her latest Bizarrap, the retired Barcelona defender has responded in the best way he knows how to - lucrative business deals.

Shakira had mocked Pique in her song saying he dropped a 'Rolex watch for a Casio'. The defender responded to that by announcing a partnership with the Casio watches brand for his King's League project.

"We have reached an agreement with Casio in the Kings League to sponsor us. Casio is a great watch, it lasts a lifetime," Pique said.

Shakira also mocked Pique for leaving a Ferrari for a Twingo.

Pique's response was to announce that one of the players of his Kings League will arrive in a Twingo after an agreement with the company.

"I have closed an agreement with Twingo to arrive on Sunday with player number 12 dressed as a clown," Pique said. That player could well be former Barca striker Sergio Aguero.

Pique's relationship with Shakira fell apart last year after 11 years together. Their union produced two kids.
