Gary Lineker Discovers Cause Of FA Cup Sex Moans Sabotage As Fans Wonder

Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer, Danny Murphy, and Paul Ince did not know where to look when sex noises were playing while they were analysing Liverpool's chances against Wolves in the FA Cup

Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer were both sabotaged by a phone taped to the back of the seat which played sex noises during live FA Cup coverage.

The iconic television duo were both covering the FA Cup replay between Wolves and Liverpool. However, it’s very likely the match will not be remembered for the football, but more of a nightmarish moment for the experienced former England internationals.

Both Shearer and Lineker have many decades of presenting and punditry experience, but they will likely struggle to think of a more embarrassing situation on the big screens. But that period of time which saw the sex noises come on, not once, not twice, but three times, will not be forgotten by the football world.

At the time, Lineker was still quizzing Paul Ince and Danny Murphy about Wolves’ chances against Liverpool. However, all analysis was quickly forgotten about as some very audible sex noises were head over the top of the coverage.

Lineker only just managed to stop himself from laughing and even remarked on the noises by saying “I don’t know who is making that noise.” He then sent the camera to a very sheepish looking Shearer who tried, and failed, to his his discomfort and embarrassment about the situation.

However, Lineker found the culprit in the end, confirming that the pundits were all set up. “Well, we found this taped to the back of the set,” Lineker laughed on Twitter. “As sabotage goes it was quite amusing.”

The football world could not believe what they saw after Lineker posted the photo of the phone. “This is 2023 peak, nothing will top this,” one fan laughed on social media.

“Fair play to whoever stuck that there,” another added, revelling in the former England international’s embarrassment. “The licence fee justified in January,” replied a Liverpool fan.

“This will be hard to top for TV moment of the year,” another stunned fan Tweeted. Up next, will surely be an inquest as to who planted the phone there.
