Former Tottenham Boss Mauricio Pochettino Ready To Replace Graham Potter At Chelsea

Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly open to replacing Graham Potter at Chelsea.

Potter has endured a rough patch at Stamford Bridge since taking charge of the Blues back in September after the departure of Thomas Tuchel.

According to Metro UK, the former Brighton manager is under immense pressure after the west Londoners slipped to 10th on the Premier League standings with 25 points.

Chelsea have won just one of their last seven fixtures, with their last outing ending in a 4-0 humiliation at Man City in the FA Cup.

Pressure is now mounting on Potter to quit after just four months at the helm, with a section of fans demanding his sacking.

 Pochettino ready for Chelsea role

Apparently, the Blues will not be short of options should they part company with Potter, with several experienced managers available.

Pochettino is among the tacticians currently without a job following his dismissal at Paris Saint-Germain back in July 2022.

According to reports, the Argentine is waiting on the wings for the Chelsea role should the club sack Potter.

The Sun claims the Chelsea board is already considering the Englishman's future, with the 47-year-old expected to have the rest of January to steady the ship.

The Blues will be back in action on Thursday night with a Premier League trip to Fulham.
