Former Super Eagles Star Victor Moses returns to training after six months out

The former Chelsea star is back on the grass after missing the last six months due to a knee injury.

Ex-Super Eagles star Victor Moses has resumed training after more than six months out due to an injury.

Moses has been out of action since August 6 2022 after rupturing his knee ligaments in Spartak Moscow’s Russian Premier League clash against Ural. 

Moses was taken off midway through the first half before further tests later confirmed that he would be out for a significant time.

However, six months after undergoing successful surgery, the former Chelsea star is back on the pitch again, training ahead of a return to action. 

Moses provided an update on his recovery with a picture of himself jogging on the pitch. The ex-West Ham star captioned the image- Back to business. 

Moses was being put through his paces in the picture shared, but it is unclear if he is ready for an immediate return to action.

Before his injury, the 32-year-old was having a fantastic start to the season with two goals in four matches for Spartak.

Depending on his fitness, Moses could make his return in Spartak’s clash against FC Rostov on February 4. However, if the match is too soon for him, the Nigerian international make his long-awaited return against PFC Sochi on February 10. 

Moses joined the Russian club from Chelsea in June 2021 on an initial loan deal before signing a two-year permanent deal. The 32-year-old’s contract at the club expires in the summer of 2024.
