Noel Le Graet who is the President of the French Football Federation has finally tendered an apology to former Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, over controversial comments made against his personality.
Graet has been under severe criticisms since he berated Zidane in his effort towards protecting France's head coach, Didier Deschamps, after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
There were talks and concerns that Zidane should probably replace Deschamps as the new coach or going to Brazil before Graet angrily made a comment against it.
Graet's comment against Zidane
"Zidane to Brazil? I don't care, let him go wherever he wants. Did Zidane try to contact me? Of course not, I wouldn't have even picked up the phone.
"You can make a special show for him to find a club or a national team."
According to the latest report on Marca, Graet has now sent his apology to Zidane and football fans who were livid with his comments.
Graet's Tenders apology to Zidane
"These awkward comments have created a misunderstanding.
"I would like to personally apologize for these comments, which in no way reflect my thoughts, nor my consideration for the player he was and the coach he has become.''
