Fans Blame Ronaldo After Aboubakar’s Al Nassr Contract Termination

Football fans across the micro-blogging App, Twitter, have expressed their disappointment with Al-Nassr's decision to part ways with Vincent Aboubakar.

 Aboubakar, who scored an iconic goal at the 2022 World Cup, was expected to form a lethal partnership with Ronaldo following the latter's move to the Middle East. 

However, the supposed partnership has hit a snag with Al-Nassr opting to part ways with the Cameroon captain in order to make room for Cristiano Ronaldo. 

The decision was arrived at by the club in order to free up a space for new signing Ronaldo, per SportBIBLE. 

Meanwhile, Aboubakar is also arousing interest from Ronaldo's former employers Manchester United, who are in need of a striker, talkSPORT reports. 

Amid the ongoing situation at Al-Nassr, many football fanatics, particularly on the African continent, took to social media to register their displeasure with Aboubakar's exit.

@Hajjsani04 believed Vincent Aboubakar has been served a raw deal by Al-Nassr:

 "It’s unfair. This player was very happy to see CR7 in the club and he is ready to be benched for Ronaldo to play." 

Another fan, @aeorzooo argued Al-Nassr's decision was based on Ronaldo's off-the-pitch additions

 "Sad for Vincent who would have been more decisive on the pitch than Cristiano. But hey, he brings back fewer followers. Damage." 

@cfcportal boldly claimed the Cameroon captain was better than Ronaldo: 

"He’s literally the better player."

 @igrBARCAenjoyer opined with the assertion of @cfcportal: 

"I think they terminated the wrong player."

 @Abather_Idba believes CR7 has ruined the fortunes of Al-Nassr following Aboubakar's departure:
