'Everything is real': Mudryk backs himself to win Ballon d'Or

Chelsea's new signing Mykhailo Mudryk is not short of confidence as he backed himself to win a Ballon d'Or one day.

In one of his last interviews with Shakhtar's official website before moving to Stamford Bridge, the winger said that this was his ambition.

"As for the Golden Ball, I don’t know how to rate this probability in percentage terms, but everything is real," Mudryk said.

"No one expected me to win the Shakhtar player of the year award in 2021 and no one expected me to get the Golden Ball as well, but it might happen one day. This is one of my personal goals."

Mudryk is yet to test himself at the top level - even though he had a few good displays in the Champions League for his former club.

He might get his Chelsea debut as soon as this Saturday as the Blues will take on Liverpool.
