Chelsea tell Benfica they're ready to pay €120m for Enzo

Chelsea have made their intentions to meet Benfica €120m price tag for Enzo Fernandez in several installments. That's according to journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, who works for reliable Argentine outlet TYC Sport.

Benfica's would prefer to keep the World Cup winner at the Portuguese club until the end of the season.

Chelsea previously made €85m offer for the midfielder and Benfica rejected their bid, making it crystal clear to the English club they would let him go only if the €120m release clause is triggered, in one payment.
